This policy describes how Perio360 ("the app"), developed by Dr. Mohammad Abu-Samak Dental Inc., handles information when you use it.
Perio360 is a clinical decision-support tool for periodontal and peri-implant classification. You enter clinical measurements directly into the app (probing depths, clinical attachment loss, bleeding on probing, mobility, furcation involvement, and related findings) to generate a staging and grading summary. The app does not use the camera, does not accept photo or file uploads, and has no auto-diagnosis or chart-scanning feature.
Perio360 does not transmit any data to a server or to any third-party service. All processing happens on your device.
Diagnosis inputs and saved cases are stored locally on your device only, using standard iOS on-device storage. The app does not ask for and does not store patient names, dates of birth, or other identifying information — only the clinical measurements needed to compute a stage and grade.
Saved cases remain on-device until you delete them in the app or uninstall the app. Nothing is retained outside your device, since Perio360 has no backend server.
Perio360 is intended for use by dental professionals as a decision-support aid, not a substitute for clinical judgment. As with any clinical record-keeping, use of the app should be consistent with your jurisdiction's privacy and health-information regulations.
